Many popular blog sites, with high traffic numbers, have articles about how to increase your site’s traffic. I Stumbled Upon this article written by Taylor Fuller of “Super Blogging Tips” and have been carefully reading these well-written and easy to implement blogging tips and felt compelled to pass it along to you fellow bloggers.

Some bloggers feel it is somewhat a waste of time to post articles on weekends, since many internet surfers are likely parked in front of their television set watching football (yawn…), but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to spotlight “Super Blogging Tips” and the article “75 Ways To Increase Your Site’s Traffic“.

Reading “75 Ways To Increase Your Site’s Traffic” does require some time , but well worth it if you’re serious about bringing more traffic and links to your site. This is just one of my personal priorities, so I spend as much time as possible reading everything I can set my eyes to. With weekends being consumed by household chores, laundry, and yes football, it isn’t too difficult for me to find time to read these tips and hints and really get busy implementing them on my own site. Some of the 75 ways of increasing your site’s traffic are things I’ve already done, so I’m well on my way, but there’s definitely room for growth.

One of the first things I did was Tidy Up The Sidebar, removing redundant and unnecessary graphics and banners that often create a distraction from your articles. Not only do we want increased traffic to our site, we also want to “Convert Visitors Into Subscribers” and retain the ones we already have.

Then I created my “About Me” page, so readers can get a sense of who I am and they can know that this site is written and maintained by a real person. The next thing on my To-Do List is to clean up my “Categories” section, giving it a much cleaner and more precise appearance. Do you have any tips or suggestions for me? Your comments, praise or even constructive criticism would be much appreciated.
